If your family has lost income or had work hours reduced due to the government shutdown, your child may qualify for free or reduced-price school meals. Applications can be submitted anytime during the school year when household income changes. Once approved, your child will receive free or reduced-price meals for the rest of the school year, ensuring continued access to nutritious food.
